Dr. Higgins’ clinical areas of expertise include urologic cancer, kidney stone disease, and enlarged prostate. He employs a variety of state-of-the-art surgical modalities such as cryosurgical treatment of the prostate and kidneys, laser treatment for enlarged prostate, InterStim therapy for overactive bladder, and outpatient procedures for urinary leakage. Dr. Higgins has also had training in advanced robotic surgery (da Vinci Surgical System) used for treatment of prostate cancer (prostatectomy) and treatment for symptomatic ureteropelvic junction obstruction (pyeloplasty).

As a general urologist, Dr. Lawatsch is trained to evaluate and treat all aspects of urologic disease, including prostate cancer, benign prostatic hypertrophy (BPH), kidney cancer, kidney stones, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, female incontinence, and pediatric urologic diseases. Dr. Lawatsch’s clinical areas of interest include laparoscopic and robotic surgery for kidney and prostate cancer as well as minimally invasive surgery for female incontinence and pelvic prolapse.

Dr. Salter’s clinical areas of expertise include treatment of bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers. She prioritizes treatment plans personalized to each patient’s circumstances and values, incorporating the principles of active surveillance, advanced imaging, and genetic testing in addition to surgical management.
She also has a special interest in the treatment of women and men with urinary problems including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, benign prostatic hyperplasia, overactive bladder, urinary retention and neurologic problems.
Dr. Salter performs open, robotic, and endoscopic procedures to offer a full scope of care.

Dr. Jay Christensen is a board-certified surgeon who brings specialized expertise and training in foot and ankle reconstruction. Dr. Christensen also specializes in treating all forms of foot and ankle conditions for children and adults as well as training in multiple total ankle replacement techniques.

Kevin J Flynn, MD
Dr. Flynn is a reconstructive urologist with expertise in urethral stricture disease, ureteral reconstruction, and genitourinary trauma. Additionally, he provides a full complement of urologic care to treat patients with kidney, prostate, and bladder cancers as well as benign conditions of the prostate and kidney stone disease. He performs an array of robotic, endoscopic, and open surgeries to best meet a patient’s needs.
He is also passionate about cancer survivorship and caring for patients experiencing the adverse effects of prior cancer treatment. This includes erectile dysfunction, male urinary incontinence, and radiation side effects.
